Our primary investigator for North Carolina is Patrick Dorminey, a seasoned former federal agent with over 25 years of investigative experience. Beginning his career as a private investigator while in college, Patrick brings a wealth of private and public investigative experience to our team. An honor graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Patrick started his federal career as a Special Agent with US Department of State and later with US Agency for International Development. He has been posted to multiple overseas US government facilities and has performed work in over 60 countries.
In addition to his work experience, Patrick brings a strong academic background to our team. He has a B.A. In Criminal Justice and a M.S. in International Relations/National Security Affairs. Additionally, Patrick keeps abreast of new regulations and investigative techniques through continuing education via the Federal Law Enforcment Training Center and professional conferences annually.
In addition to serving private clients, Patrick remains active in the world of federal security clearances. Holding credentials from Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency, Patrick very much enjoys meeting with new members of our armed forces to guide them through the clearance process on their paths to defend our nation.

Kathryn's experience includes public service as a US Department of State Foreign Service Officer (Economic) and International Trade Specialist (Country Manager for sub Saharan Africa) for the US Trade and Development Agency. She also brings expertise gained from over 15 years with Max Woodrow. Kathryn holds a BA (Spanish and International Trade) and an MBA (International Finance concentration) from Auburn University. Kathryn especially enjoys helping clients vet potential business partners and opportunities. She has extensive experience in working in developing and emerging economies.
